Sergey Egorov has been appointed head of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee's Agriculture and Food Committee

Sergey Egorov has been appointed as the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee's Committee for Agriculture and Food.

The new head of the region's agro-industrial complex was born in 1978 in Liozno. He graduated from the Vitebsk State Academy of Veterinary Medicine. He began his career as the chief veterinarian of the "Sovetskaya Belorussiya" collective farm in the Liozno district. He worked as a veterinarian-therapist at the Liozno District Veterinary Station. He managed OJSC "Novaya Dubrava-Agro". In 2010, he graduated from the Academy of Management under the President of the Republic of Belarus. From 2012 to 2015, he served as the First Deputy - Head of the Department of Agriculture and Food of the Liozno District Executive Committee. Then, for four years, he headed the Tolochin District Executive Committee. Before his appointment to the new position, he worked as the Deputy General Director for Livestock and Veterinary Medicine at OJSC "Vitebsk Meat Processing Plant".
