Sergey Levkovich visited OJSC «BelVitunipharm»
As part of the unified information day, Assistant to the President of Belarus – Inspector for the Vitebsk Region, Sergey Levkovich, met with the work collective of OJSC "BelVitunipharm", discussed the country's achievements and development prospects using the example of a leading manufacturer of veterinary drugs.
In a comment for "Vitbichi", Sergey Levkovich noted that direct dialogue between the authorities and citizens is a common practice for Belarus, which allows to feel the mood of the people, especially in work collectives, which is very important.
– When there is unity of thought in work collectives, people support the authorities, are focused on results, when the leader leads, and employees understand what to strive for, and this positively affects their well-being, then everything is fine, nothing threatens us. And in this context, I did not see any problems at "BelVitunipharm", – said Sergey Levkovich.
In his assessment, the enterprise plays an important role for the Vitebsk region and the country, ensures its biological safety, and produces a number of exclusive drugs that have no analogues in Belarus. Therefore, there will always be attention to "BelVitunipharm"; the country expects progressive development from the team. In recent years, as Sergey Levkovich noted, the enterprise has been transforming, the production level is growing, and the economy is improving. At the same time, one should not get stuck in a state of optimistic complacency.
– There are certain problems. And in a conversation with the director, I recommended not to undertake directions in which the team lacks competencies, but to concentrate efforts on what the company does excellently, – explained the President's aide. Moreover, biotechnology is a leader in the global economy in terms of profitability, along with the oil industry, and at the same time, it is a highly intellectual production that requires continuous professional development. Therefore, it is important that "BelVitunipharm's" plans are realized. In particular, the enterprise needs to increase exports. Despite the fact that the market is complex and competitors are developing, the Vitebsk manufacturer should not lag behind.
– This now depends entirely on you. Everyone in their place must give their best. And take responsibility for their area of work, – Sergey Levkovich addressed the audience.
Taking the opportunity, the inspector for the Vitebsk region voiced one of the main messages of the head of state: we must appreciate what we have and do our job. Especially when, in the information flow that penetrates our lives through various media and tries to sow discord in our actions, it is important not to give in to provocations and to separate the wheat from the chaff.
– Undoubtedly, it is natural for a person to desire more and better. We have everything for this: salaries are growing, living conditions are improving, but all issues cannot be resolved in one day. Year after year, there is progressive growth in the country. 2024 is no exception: there is positive dynamics, including in the Vitebsk region, where in January-February, the salary level of citizens employed in the economy increased by 12.3 percent. I emphasize - we are talking about real incomes. In 2023In the year, almost two thousand people improved their housing conditions, of which slightly less than half were large families. "The main thing is that each of us must think about how to increase professional competencies, improve qualifications, and work more effectively in our workplace," emphasized Sergey Levkovich.

At the end of the meeting, the President's Aide for Belarus, at the request of the company's management, presented a corporate award to Ekaterina Prigorenko, Head of the Foreign Economic Activity Department.
