Sergey Sadovsky has been approved as the Chairman of the Ushachi District Executive Committee
Sergey Sadovsky is well-known in Ushachi. Previously, he held the position of First Deputy Chairman – Head of the Department for Agriculture and Food of the District Executive Committee. His responsibilities included issues of food resources, production and processing of agricultural products, forestry, land relations, geodesy and cartography, hydrometeorology, natural resources and environmental protection, patronage assistance to agricultural organizations, and the development of the fishing industry in the region.
– The Ushachi district is an agricultural one, so the decision was made to have it headed by a person competent in these matters, – emphasized Vladimir Terentyev.

For now, as noted by the head of the region's deputy corps, the results of the region's agro-industrial complex are not encouraging. Ushachi has the lowest milk yield and grain yield in the Dvina region, as well as the lowest investment activity. This is despite the fact that agricultural products account for 70% of revenue. The number of economically active population has decreased by 11% over the last five years. In terms of socio-economic development, the district is included in the list of lagging regions.
The new head is tasked with doubling agricultural production. And this is a realistic task. Certain steps are already being taken in this direction – livestock complexes are being modernized, and farms are being developed.
– My work will be based on the principles of legality, fairness, and honesty, aimed at the welfare of the people and the interests of enterprises with the goal of developing the Ushachi district. The reform of agricultural enterprises, attraction of investments, and implementation of investment projects will continue. The improvement of the urban settlement and other settlements will not be overlooked. The priority of the authorities' work will be to improve the quality of life of the people, – emphasized Sergey Sadovsky.

Former chairman of the district executive committee Vladimir Avdoshko, who was presented with an Honorary Diploma of the District Council, thanked the deputies for their joint work and wished success to the new head.
The extraordinary session of the District Council of Deputies was attended by the Aide to the President - Inspector for the Vitebsk Region Anatoly Linevich.
