Vladimir Terentyev presented a certificate for 10,000 rubles for the purchase of sports equipment to the Suikovskaya basic school of the Vitebsk region.
– Although our school is small, with only 70 children studying here, the achievements are very pleasing, – emphasized the director of the educational institution Mikhail Papko. – This is facilitated by a friendly team of professionals: out of 15 teachers, seven have the highest qualification category and six have the first qualification category.
It is enough to say that during the academic year, the school's students became winners of district and regional Olympiads. For example, 8th-grader Sergey Makarov showed good results at the regional history Olympiad, 4th-grader Artem Pavlov – in the subject "Man and the World", 8th-grader Artem Stanko and 7th-grader Ignatiy Shibeko – in physical education and sports, and 9th-grader Oleg Novikov distinguished himself in the district Olympiad in labor training.
This became possible, in part, thanks to the strengthening of the school's material and technical base, believes Mikhail Papko. This academic year alone, the school received a computer class, a multi-board, 30 new pairs of skis, and a new bus (now there are two) for transporting 60 children.
Out of nine graduates, three intend to continue their studies in agricultural colleges, while the rest of the students, including one girl, will go to the tenth grade.
