Grey mobile phones worth Br48 million seized in Polotsk

July 22, Vitebsk /Olga Bogacheva - BELTA/. A batch of grey mobile phones was seized in Polotsk, Denis Glebko, head of the press service of the Polotsk Border Guard Detachment, told a BELTA correspondent.

Servicemen of the Polotsk Border Guard Detachment, together with employees of the city tax inspection, discovered and seized 52 new mobile phones and accessories for them in one of the stores. The cost of the goods amounted to Br48.1 million. It is assumed that the mobile phones were imported from Latvia by an individual entrepreneur and were sold in Polotsk in violation of the legislation of Belarus.

Currently, a check is being carried out against the owner of the phones with the aim of bringing him to administrative responsibility later.-0-
