The pre-New Year's fair season starts in Vitebsk on December 1st

From December 1 to January 7, fairs and sales of goods at reduced prices will be held weekly on weekends in the regional center with the participation of organizations in industry, trade, public catering, consumer services, as well as those engaged in the production and processing of crop and livestock products. Four sites have been designated for the fairs.

The season of pre-New Year's fairs will start in Vitebsk on December 1, a BELTA correspondent was informed at the Vitebsk City Executive Committee. From December 1 to January 7, fairs and sales of goods at reduced prices will be held weekly on weekends in the regional center with the participation of organizations in industry, trade, public catering, consumer services, as well as those engaged in the production and processing of crop and livestock products.

Four sites have been designated for the fairs. In the first half of December, Christmas tree markets will also open. This year, they will be set up at 20 locations. At the same time, their network will be spread out with maximum convenience for the citizens. Expanded Christmas tree markets will be held on the eve of Christmas and New Year. Although these long-awaited holidays are still more than a month away, the city has already begun to prepare for them, specialists noted. The first to start "turning on" the festive mood were retail outlets, decorating their trading rows and shop windows with elegant garlands, bright balls, and other New Year's attributes.

Some grocery stores have already featured separate shelves with gifts for children, and large shopping centers are gradually setting up special trading rows offering a wide selection of various New Year's products and souvenirs.
