The recently formed regional list of unused education system facilities has already begun to shrink
The complex of capital structures of the Latygolichsky basic school with a total area of over 3 thousand sq. m was put up for repeated bidding with an initial sale price of ten base units, or 230 rubles. Only one participant showed interest in the property, so the auction was declared invalid, and the sole bidder agreed to purchase the real estate at the initial price increased by 5%, i.e., for 241.5 rubles. In addition to the two-story building constructed in 1977, the lot includes a garage, a boiler room, engineering infrastructure facilities, as well as the right to a 20-year lease of a land plot of 1.7 hectares.
In total, the list of unused educational facilities (schools and kindergartens) compiled by the "Vitebskoblimushchestvo" fund includes more than 90 structures. Their potential for economic utilization is quite broad – from organizing production activities and service enterprises on their basis to reconstruction into residential properties.
Following the results of the past auction, another object has found a new owner. Unused buildings (an administrative building and two garages with a total area of about 1.4 thousand sq. m) in Lepel were purchased by a domestic investor at the initial price increased by 5%, i.e., for almost 19 thousand rubles.
BY THE WAY In 2016, 84 real estate objects were sold at the fund's auctions for about 2.3 million rubles, including almost half of the structures at auctions with an initial sale price of one base unit.
