Six women from the Vitebsk region will be awarded the Order of Motherhood

The ranks of decorated mothers of large families in the Vitebsk region have grown. Six women who have given birth to and are raising five or more children will receive the Order of Motherhood during the festive events dedicated to Mother's Day.

The honorary award, established by decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus in 1995, has been bestowed upon Elena Gornak (Vitebsk district), Maya Konopelko (Gluboksky district), Evgenia Ivashchenok and Tatiana Kalinina (Polotsk district), Tatiana Poniznik (Novopolotsk city), and Tatiana Mikishanova (Vitebsk city). Each of them is a worthy example of a mother, the keeper of the family hearth.

In total, during 2015, 27 mothers of large families from the Vitebsk region received the highest sign of maternal valor.
