On the eve of May 1, an exhibition-sale of products from educational institutions of the region "Vesnovy Karagod" was held on the site in front of the Palace of Sports on Stroiteley Avenue. There were quite a few visitors from early morning. The fair is not held for the first time, and Vitebsk residents know that educational institutions prepare pleasant surprises for them: attractive prices, a wide range of goods, and a lot of entertainment.

The fair is not held for the first time, and Vitebsk residents know that educational institutions prepare pleasant surprises for them: attractive prices, a wide range of goods, and a lot of entertainment.

This year, the sellers more than lived up to the expectations of consumers, once again demonstrating the practical orientation of the educational process, creativity in presenting educational institutions, and attracting buyers. About 120 stalls offered goods grown and manufactured by students and teachers from all over the Vitebsk region, ranging from seeds and seedlings to industrial goods. Also, citizens had a unique opportunity to watch the work of folk craft masters, and try hot pancakes and porridge.

However, the pursuit of revenue is not the ultimate goal of such events. The main thing is to attract the attention of high school graduates to working professions, to inform them about admission rules, etc. The theme of the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the love of labor ran like a red thread through the decoration of the exhibition-sale. "Vitebskiye vesti" also did not stand aside. We put on public display stands with photos of rural workers who became the heroes of our publications. In addition, those who wished could get on the front page of the regional newspaper.

The flow of people at the counters was so great that by lunchtime, one could increasingly hear: "Sorry, everything is sold out, please come next time." It was simply impossible to leave without purchases and a charge of positive mood. Chairman of the regional executive committee Nikolai Sherstnev was convinced of this, who was impressed by the master classes of folk craftsmen, the variety and quality of the products offered, and the taste of fresh pastries.
