Школа молодых лидеров приграничных районов Беларуси и России собрала в Смоленске более 100 участников
Over 100 young people from seven regions of Belarus and Russia gathered in Smolensk for the educational winter school of young leaders of border regions.

Representatives from Vitebsk, Mogilev, and Gomel regions of Belarus, as well as Smolensk, Pskov, Bryansk, and Kaliningrad regions of Russia, took part in discussion platforms and master classes on such relevant topics as "PR Technologies in Project Implementation," "Development of Internet Projects," "Insights into Public Speaking," and discussed cross-border youth cooperation programs between the two countries.

As part of the forum, youth from the Vitebsk region participated in the patriotic event "For the Glory of the Common Victory." A capsule with soil from the burial site of Hero of the Soviet Union Mikhail Yegorov, who raised the Victory Banner over the Reichstag, was handed over to the Belarusians.

The culmination of the event was the signing of the Implementation Plan for joint activities between the youth organizations BRSM and RSM. An agreement on cooperation was also signed between the Vitebsk regional organization of BRSM and the Kaliningrad regional organization of RSM.

– The School of Young Leaders of the Border Regions of Belarus and Russia is a unique project, – emphasized Vyacheslav Khrol, First Secretary of the Vitebsk Regional Committee of BRSM. – Our main goal is to consolidate youth for useful activities, to remember together the feat of our grandfathers and great-grandfathers, and to organize projects that are necessary for young people. Agreements have been reached on holding a youth educational forum at the Kurgan Druzhby in the Verkhnedvinsk district. We decided to slightly modify the program and add high-quality educational components, creative competitions, and, of course, sports. Today, young people are trending towards education, and we are ready to support it in every way possible.
