The "School of Military History" will open at the Vitebsk Museum of Minay Shmyrev

The Regional Museum of Minay Shmyrev has initiated a new project – the "School of Military History". Classes will begin on October 24.

Once a month, there will be lessons for high school students, university students, and anyone interested in the issues of World War II. These will include seminars, lectures by recognized specialists in the military history of Belarus and Russia, and "round tables".

Cadets will be provided with the opportunity to use the library, which contains 1.5 thousand publications, as well as the museum's multimedia collection, which includes over 200 documentary and newsreel films, numerous digitized literature items, and photo documents, during their studies.

According to the museum director, Irina Shishkova, the idea of creating a museum school was born in response to the request of a young, patriotic audience passionate about military history events.
