School fairs will be held throughout the Vitebsk region on August 22
Two weeks remain until the start of the new academic year. Parents, returning from vacation, are in a hurry to purchase everything their children will need for school. At the same time, many lack the time to go shopping. And here, school fairs come to the aid of adults. One of them took place in the northern capital last Saturday. Enterprises from Vitebsk and the region, as well as well-known trading companies from other regions of Belarus, presented a wide selection of school supplies – from stationery, satchels, and backpacks to school and sports uniforms.
Discounts from manufacturers and trading organizations, especially on clothing, attracted quite a lot of buyers. Mothers and grandmothers repeatedly brought elegant jackets, sarafans, and trousers for their schoolchildren to try on. And the rich assortment of strict outfits allowed girls and boys to be picky in their choices.
If someone has not yet managed to get their child ready for school, they can do it quickly and save money for the family budget on August 22 as well. On this day, school bazaars will be held throughout the region. In addition, on August 29, a "Unified Discount Day" is planned in the republic, in which enterprises from the Dvina region will also participate.
Also, residents of the Vitebsk region can buy everything necessary for the educational process in the so-called "school corners," which are organized in all retail outlets selling non-food products, as well as in super- and hypermarkets.
