Students of Mazolovo School received a school bus as part of the "Our Children" campaign
In most cases, representatives of the authorities participate in New Year's parties on the eve of the holidays, but in the agro-town of Mazolovo, guests were invited to honor the best students and teachers of the year with the "Path to Success" award.
– You are truly the best. Our future depends on how you grow up, – Vladimir Penin addressed the children and congratulated them on the upcoming New Year. He wished the teachers success in their work, as they bear the responsibility for the younger generation, and handed the keys to a new school bus to Sergey Zubovich, the director of the Mazolovo Secondary School.
Educational institutions in the district also received many gifts from the local executive authorities.
– This year, we have significantly strengthened our material and technical base. We purchased a minibus, 10 sets of computer classes, seven interactive whiteboards, seven televisions, technological equipment: refrigerators, electric stoves, ovens, furniture, sports equipment, and musical equipment for a total amount of almost 300 thousand rubles, and this is just in December. In total, about 700 thousand rubles were spent on similar purposes last year. This is a serious support, our contribution to the development and improvement of the quality of education, – emphasized Gennady Sabynich and presented certificates to the school directors.
Special attention within the framework of the pre-New Year's marathon of kindness from the state is given to orphans, those who for various reasons are left without parental warmth and care.
Last year, thanks to the efforts of the local authorities and sponsors, the fourth family-type children's home was opened in Mazolovo. Olga and Alexey Pisetskiye are already raising six adopted and one biological child, and the other day their family will be replenished again – a 4-year-old ward of the Velikolyetsky orphanage will join the friendly and cheerful company.
To make the children's lives even more comfortable and interesting, the regional executive committee helped to purchase the necessary household appliances, furniture, sports and tourist equipment, and the little ones received sweet gifts. Funds were allocated from the district budget for the purchase of a table tennis table.
