The training system of the 103rd mobile brigade's servicemen received high praise from the CSTO PA Council

July 29, Vitebsk region / Diana Kurilo - BELTA/. Members of the Collective Security Treaty Organization's Permanent Council, the Secretariat and the Joint Staff of the CSTO highly praised the system and combat training level of the servicemen of the 103rd Guards Separate Mobile Brigade of the Armed Forces of Belarus. This was announced to journalists today by CSTO Secretary General Nikolai Bordyuzha, BELTA correspondent reports.

"The servicemen demonstrated the highest level of training. Their combat training is organized at a high level," emphasized Nikolai Bordyuzha. He also gave excellent marks to the material base of the military unit.

Nikolai Bordyuzha noted that, despite the fact that the training system for special operations forces in Belarus is adapted to local conditions, it includes elements of various training, such as mountain and water training, which allows servicemen to perform a variety of tasks. "I am satisfied that the 103rd Mobile Brigade is part of the CSTO's collective rapid deployment forces. It can carry out the combat missions that will be assigned to it by the Collective Security Council," the CSTO Secretary General is convinced.

Members of the CSTO Permanent Council today familiarized themselves with the combat training level of the mobile brigade and its technical equipment. At the training ground in the Vitebsk region, the participants observed the actions of the servicemen of the special operations forces of the Armed Forces of Belarus. Servicemen of the 103rd Mobile Brigade demonstrated parachute-less landing, as well as the work of diving units. In addition, members of the CSTO Permanent Council observed the progress of testing for the right to be awarded the badge of the Ministry of Defense of Belarus "Valor and Skill".

The trip of the CSTO Permanent Council members was organized on the initiative of the Belarusian side within the framework of the ongoing chairmanship of the Republic of Belarus in the CSTO.

A similar trip took place in April 2010 to the 98th Guards Airborne Division of the Armed Forces of Russia. As Nikolai Bordyuzha noted, the servicemen of both military units demonstrated an equally high level of training. -0-
