The situation and ways to reduce tension in the labor market were considered in the Rossony district

Representatives of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection, the Committee for Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, the Committee for Economy of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, the Rossony District Executive Committee, and organizations took part in the roundtable discussion.

During the roundtable discussion, current problems of the Rossony District, as a territory with a tense labour market situation, included in the list for 2021, measures taken to improve the situation in the district were considered, and issues of ensuring effective employment in the labour market were discussed.

In January-May 2021:

83 people were employed in permanent jobs, including 68 unemployed;

temporary employment in the form of paid public works was organized for 12 people;

1 unemployed person was issued a subsidy to start their own business;

5 unemployed people were sent for training – all "on demand" of the employer with a guarantee of employment.

The registered unemployment rate in the district as of June 1, 2021, was 0.4 percent.

The labour market tension coefficient in the district as of June 1, 2021, was 0.1 unemployed per vacancy.

The employment rate of unemployed people was 70.1 percent.

During the event, participants visited PRB Industry LLC, Zdrаva Agricultural Unitary Enterprise, Bobrovaya Khata LLC, and discussed the development prospects of the organizations and the interaction between the employment service and employers in staffing.
