Ситуация на предприятиях Оршанского района улучшилась - Андрей Кобяков
The situation at the enterprises of the Orsha district has improved, stated today to journalists the Prime Minister of Belarus Andrei Kobyakov during a working trip to the Vitebsk region.

"The plan for the development of the Orsha district is being implemented. A number of successful decisions have been made that have improved the situation at the enterprises. There are enterprises where the situation has noticeably improved, there are those that are experiencing problems, but these problems are already of a different level, arising in the process of increasing production. Solving these problems requires time, but it should not be prolonged. There is a program until 2020, there are control figures. By 2020, the Orsha region should reach development indicators above the average for the Vitebsk region. We are now working to ensure that this is fulfilled," said Andrei Kobyakov.

The Prime Minister visited OJSC "Orsha Machine-Tool Plant "Krasny Borets", where he was informed about the development and production of high-tech, science-intensive machine-tool products, and the increase in the volume of their supplies to foreign markets. During the visit to OJSC "Orsha Tool Plant", the progress of the investment project "Organization of production of modern metal-cutting and auxiliary tools with the introduction of innovative technological processes" was discussed, as well as the effectiveness of measures taken to normalize the enterprise's operations and bring it to break-even. "Certain reconstruction has been carried out at the enterprise. A project for the modernization of existing equipment is being implemented. Machine tools are being updated and included in the technological chain," said Andrei Kobyakov. - There are orders, working capital, conditions for work, but difficulties arise due to a shortage of specialists of the appropriate qualification who could produce products with the proper level of quality and work with the proper labor productivity. This needs to be seriously addressed."

During the working trip, the Prime Minister

also met with the heads of enterprises of the Orsha district. The improvement of the efficiency of open joint-stock companies "Orshaagroprommash", "Plant of Automatic Control Devices", "Legmash Plant", "Tehnika Svyazi", "Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant" and "Orsha Construction Trust No. 18" was discussed. "At the end of May last year, we held a meeting, and approaches for each enterprise were determined. This year, for the first quarter, the growth rate of industrial production volumes amounted to 101.9%. For all enterprises, except for OJSC "Plant of Automatic Control Devices", long-term development strategies have been developed, and investment projects are being implemented. Much has also been done to restore order at the enterprises," noted Andrei Kobyakov. "A number of decisions were made to improve the financial condition of individual enterprises. Enterprises such as OJSC "Legmash Plant", OJSC "Tehnika Svyazi", branch No. 7 "Orshastroy materials" of OJSC "Belarusian Cement Plant" have achieved net profit. As for OJSC "Legmash Plant", there are good investment projects there - together with BMZ in the oil industry, a project with the Czech Republic. We believe that the enterprise is developing in the right direction." The Prime Minister drew attention to the fact that the situation at OJSC "Tehnika Svyazi" has noticeably improved. "Production volumes are doubling compared to last year's level. There is a prospect that these growth rates will be maintained next year. A very good start has been made," he emphasized. The situation at the Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant was also discussed. "The difficulties are known, but there are ways to solve problem issues. They are now actively looking for orders, there are proposals. The labor collective will also not be left without attention," said Andrei Kobyakov.

The Prime Minister visited the production unitary enterprise "Orsha Meat Canning Plant" and OJSC "Orsha Grain Processing Plant". Proposals of the working group, created by the order of the Prime Minister dated April 11, 2018 No. 97r, on stabilizing the financial and economic condition and effective development of cooperative and integration structures in the agro-industrial complex of the Vitebsk region were also considered.
