The festival "We are heirs of Skaryna, we know, we can, we create!", which will be attended by the best children's creative groups of the city and district, opens the program of the Days. 9 thematic areas will be organized: concert; creative (clay modeling, straw weaving, paper plastics, etc.); military-historical (presentation of interest associations "Young Knight", "Polotsk Musketeers"); technical (presentation of the model shipbuilding club, "Virazh" karting club); sports (chess, tennis, demonstration performances by kickboxers, young judokas, etc.); ecological (petting zoo, "Gifts of Autumn" exhibition, ecological creative workshop); tourist (tourist obstacle course); game; book (exhibition of new children's literature, performances by young poets).

Thematic event "We carry the high name of Skaryna" will be held at Polotsk Gymnasium No. 1 named after Francysk Skaryna, and at the historical-philological faculty of Polotsk State University, the exhibition "Founder of Printing" will be opened, an excursion "Universities of Francysk Skaryna" will be held, and "Knowledge Day in the Park of High Technologies" will take place.

In the Museum of Belarusian Book Printing, museum lessons "Printed by Skaryna" will be organized for schoolchildren and students. And in the city libraries, knowledge lessons "Festival of Skaryna's Word" and book exhibitions will be held.

Francysk Skaryna is one of the greatest historical figures, a great enlightener and the founder of Belarusian book printing, in whose honor the country's highest awards - a medal and an order - were established, educational institutions, streets, avenues are named after him, and monuments are erected. In Polotsk, Francysk Skaryna's name is borne by the central city library, Gymnasium No. 1, a square, an avenue, and a street. A monument to the great enlightener is erected in the city center.
