The "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" festival brought together about 5,000 artists from 30 countries
About 5,000 artists from 30 countries are expected in the city on the Dvina River. By the way, if you are worried about how to get there, Belarusian Railways has launched additional trains to Vitebsk.
The festival will take place on all streets of the city, announced the festival director Gleb Lapitsky, and the main block of concerts will be dedicated to famous composers celebrating anniversaries. Interesting projects await guests in Mazurino Park – a color fest and an auto sound festival. This year, the City of Masters will be located on the pedestrian streets of Pushkin and Tolstoy and will be solemnly opened tomorrow at noon on Freedom Square. Traditionally, Vitebsk region is represented more widely than other regions in the City of Masters, although, according to the organizers, guests will come from all regions of our country, Minsk, as well as from Dagestan, Kabardino-Balkaria, Velikiye Luki, Vologda, Voronezh, Moscow, Smolensk, and Tolyatti.
On Wednesday, July 12, in the evening – a big concert of Belarusian stars in the Summer Amphitheater, at 6:30 PM. This is a creative evening of the group "AURA" with the participation of guests, dedicated to the Year of Peace and Creation. Anatoly Yarmolenko, Alena Lanskaya, Ruslan Alekhno, Alexander Solodukha, and many other renowned artists will also perform.
On Thursday, July 13, at 8:30 PM – the grand opening ceremony of the festival. Lev Leshchenko, Angelina Vovk, Elena Vaenga, Dmitry Kharatyan, Sergey Lazarev, Vladimir Presnyakov, Alexander Marshal, Anatoly Yarmolenko and the ensemble "Syabry", Ruslan Alekhno, Ilona Bronevitskaya, Yuri Malikov and the ensemble "Novye Samotsvety", BOJGUA Family, the group "Na-Na", and many others will sing.
On July 14, leading artists from Belarus and Russia will gather in the amphitheater, accompanied by the M.Ya. Finberg National Academic Concert Orchestra of Belarus, in the concert program from the cycle "The Union State Invites...", which this year is dedicated to the 85th anniversary of People's Artist of the USSR Igor Luchenok.

A less exciting event is the International Pop Song Performers Contest "Vitebsk" accompanied by the Presidential Orchestra of Belarus under the baton of Vitaly Kulbakov. This is the first contest day and the "Slavic Hit" program. Our country will be represented by an artist from Orsha, Samir Yelchiev, who will perform the famous "Chyrvonaya ruzha" from the repertoire of Vladimir Muliavin and the ensemble "Pesniary". And on the artist's jacket, there will be a huge golden rose – this was the stylists' idea, Samir told sb.by journalist. The live broadcast of this concert on the country's main TV channel is at 18:30.
And on July 16, at 21:30 – the grand closing of the festival and the "World Hit" program by participants of the International Pop Song Performers Contest.
The festival program also includes a big concert with the participation of teams from the Higher League of KVN, which will be held for the first time after a long break. Stars of chanson have also gathered in Vitebsk – they will perform in the amphitheater on July 17. And these are far from all the significant events of the main music festival of the summer.
