"Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" will become a meeting place for businessmen

This year, the international festival "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" will become a meeting place not only for artists but also for businessmen from different countries. The international investment forum will be held in Vitebsk on July 10, the opening day of the famous festival, the Vitebsk Oblast Executive Committee's Economy Committee informed a BELTA correspondent. The business forum aims to attract investments in the development of high-tech technologies of commodity producers, and to familiarize domestic and foreign investors with the possibility of organizing new production facilities in the region. Potential investors will be presented with projects in mechanical engineering, automotive industry, production of new building materials using local raw materials, proposals for the development of roadside services and logistics centers, and the creation of recreational infrastructure in each city and district of the region. Representatives of Belarusian and foreign production, commercial, and financial structures are invited to participate in the forum as potential investors. The investment forum will be the second this year. The first was held in March. It featured 150 investment proposals totaling Br1 billion. Businessmen from almost 20 countries participated in the forum. During business meetings, 44 contracts and agreements were concluded with a total investment volume of $350 million. -0-
