The high-speed tracked vehicle undoubtedly helps border guards in carrying out their duties. The snowmobile allows for increased maneuverability and efficiency in suppressing state border violations and smuggling.
 
The Polotsk border guard detachment became a pioneer in the use of new equipment. And last year, also for the first time in Belarus, horse patrols appeared here at the "Saveyki" outpost, which, according to D. Glebko, have already proven their effectiveness. So, border guards today have both horses, as in ancient times, and the most modern equipment at their service.
