SOAO "Ferein" will launch drug production in Belarus in the first half of 2010

Joint stock company "Ferein" will launch the production of medicinal preparations in Belarus in the first half of 2010, Mikhail Cherepok, Chairman of the concern "Belbiopharm", informed a BELTA correspondent today. He participated in the meeting of the working group for the construction of the pharmaceutical enterprise "BelVitoUnifar" in Vitebsk. It is expected that JSC "Ferein" will produce ampoule forms and injectable preparations from the product line that exists on the Russian market. "Initially, there will be duplication, and then an expansion of production," said Mikhail Cherepok. Equipment worth approximately $24 million has already been installed at the enterprise, which was created on the basis of UP "Dialek", transferred as an asset complex to JSC "Ferein". The chemical and pharmaceutical plant "Ferein" of CJSC "Brynstsalov-A" (Russian Federation) produces highly effective medical preparations, including cardiovascular drugs and antibiotics. The quality of the products is confirmed by a certificate of compliance with GMP requirements. -0-
