The own revenues of the "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" festival are constantly growing

June 30, Minsk /Zhanna Kotlyarova - BELTA/. The own income of the "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" festival is constantly growing. This was announced today at a meeting with journalists in Minsk by the First Deputy Minister of Culture of Belarus Vladimir Rylatko, a BELTA correspondent reports. If a few years ago the self-repaying part was 25%, then today it is already 51%, he said. This is due to the large number of concerts, the large number of famous artists, whose concerts sell out tickets. The director of the "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" festival, Rodion Bass, added that this year's festival is super-starry and super-diverse. This will allow earning Br1 billion more than last year. Tickets for concerts are not cheap, the festival director agreed. But this year, hotel room prices have significantly increased - from 69% to 110%, not to mention transportation. The only way for the director to hold the festival at the proper level is to increase ticket prices. "An analysis of the festival's history has shown that there is an insane demand for tickets in the first week of sales, then there is a colossal decline. And a week before the festival, there is an incredible surge - tears, scandals, calls. Everyone is looking for tickets," Rodion Bass said. -0-
