Belarus and the Chinese corporation Drex Food Group intend to sign an investment agreement worth $250 million by the end of the year for the creation of dairy farms in the Vitebsk region. This agreement was reached during the visit of the Minister of Agriculture and Food of Belarus, Leonid Zayats, to China, as reported by the Embassy of Belarus in the PRC.

Following official meetings in Beijing, the Belarusian delegation held the agricultural forum "Made in Belarus," which was attended by leading Belarusian companies. Negotiations between the delegation and leading Chinese food companies, including China Merchants Food, Beijing Shounong Group, Drex Food Group, and Ouya Trade Hong Kong, took place in Guangzhou and Hong Kong. Leonid Zayats also met with the Undersecretary of the Hong Kong Government for Food Safety, Xu Deyi. The parties discussed issues of creating favorable conditions for the supply of Belarusian agricultural products to this region.
