Agreements on broadcasting the II European Games competitions have already been signed with 106 broadcasters

The first Executive Committee meeting of the European Olympic Committees this year was held in Lausanne. The Executive Committee heard reports on the 2019 European Games in Minsk from the Chairman of the Coordination Commission, Spyros Capralos, the Secretary General of the NOC of Belarus and Director of the Directorate of the II European Games 2019 Foundation, Georgy Katulin, as well as from the General Director, Simon Clegg, and the Executive Director of International Sports Broadcasting, Manolo Romero.

According to Manolo Romero, agreements have already been reached with 106 broadcasters. The goal is to sign agreements with more than 120 broadcasting companies, with a total reach of over 500 million potential viewers, according to the press service of the NOC of Belarus.

The head of the International Olympic Committee, Thomas Bach, emphasized the extreme importance of the Olympic ideals. According to him, the Olympic movement remains one of the few things that still manages to unite a divided modern world.

"In these extremely turbulent times of new nationalism and fragmented societies, the Olympic movement is an anchor of stability. We are the only ones who still manage to unite the world and bring everyone together," said Bach.
