Union parliamentarians will consider the regulatory framework for the budget process at a meeting in Orsha

The regulatory framework for the budget process in the Union State will be considered at a meeting of the Commission of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia for Budget and Finance, which will be held from February 28 to March 1 in Orsha. This was reported by the press service of the assembly.

In particular, the meeting plans to consider the work plans of the working group for the development of regulatory documents governing the budget process of the Union State. Deputies will also discuss the role of business in the economic development of regions using the example of the Orsha district of the Vitebsk region, the district's cooperation with Russian regions, the potential and further development of the Belarusian-Russian border area, and the preparation of draft programs of the Union State, including the concept of the program "Innovative Development of Flax Complexes of Russia and Belarus".

During their visit to Orsha, the Union parliamentarians will visit enterprises that are state customers - coordinators and executors of the Union State programs: Orsha Flax Mill, Krasny Borets Machine-Tool Plant, LINPAK Packaging East enterprise, and Orsha Meat Canning Plant.

In addition, the deputies intend to visit some historical and cultural heritage sites in order to develop proposals for the creation of a joint tourist route of the Union State. In addition to parliamentarians, representatives of the Standing Committee of the Union State, the Ministries of Finance of Belarus and Russia, control bodies, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, the Orsha District Executive Committee, the administration of the Smolensk region, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the Belarusian State Concern for Oil and Chemistry, and regional businesses will also take part in the commission meeting.
