Competition among agrarians for sowing campaign announced in Vitebsk region
A competition among agricultural workers is being held for the first time during the spring sowing campaign in the Vitebsk region, as reported by the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.
Winners will be determined among integration structures, agricultural organizations, and individual categories of workers in the agro-industrial complex who have achieved the best results in spring field work. According to the terms of the competition, all participants are working with new equipment, including energy-intensive machinery. The main objective is to achieve maximum average output per unit of equipment involved in plowing, pre-sowing soil cultivation, crop rolling, and sowing of spring grain and leguminous crops, rapeseed, and corn. The best agrarians and leading agricultural enterprises will be announced in May. Meanwhile, the committee for agriculture and food is recording operational data on labor results daily.
"Holding competitions will contribute to strengthening work motivation and mobilizing agricultural sector workers to achieve high results in agricultural production, increasing productivity, timely and high-quality completion of all work, and efficient use of material and labor resources," the regional executive committee believes.
