The state of the region's healthcare system and issues raised by the President of Belarus were discussed at the Vitebsk Oblast Media Center

Состояние системы здравоохранения региона и вопросы, озвученные Президентом Беларуси, обсудили в Медиацентре Витебской области
What did the industry monitoring reveal, what measures are already being taken to improve the efficiency of the healthcare system? What innovations have been introduced into practice today, particularly in the treatment of cancer patients? These issues, as well as the prospects for staffing the healthcare system, were discussed with the audience by experts: Mikhail Vishnevetsky, Head of the Main Department for Healthcare of the Regional Executive Committee, Vladimir Sinkevich, Chief Sanitary Doctor of the Vitebsk Region, and Natalia Konevalova, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the Vitebsk State Medical University.

– Justifying the great credit of trust from the population, we will promptly address issues that have not been fully finalized, – said Mikhail Vishnevetsky. – These are personnel, the state of the material and technical base of rural healthcare institutions, and medical care for the rural population. I think we need to look for new approaches to ensure promptness, rather than working in the old way. Every day, the main department for healthcare is in contact with the Ministry of Health, and we strive to do this as quickly and efficiently as possible through joint efforts.

Repairs of FAPs have already begun in the Vitebsk region, 38 of them have already been brought into compliance. And 10 mobile paramedic and obstetric points, which will soon be received by the districts of the Vitebsk region, will also raise the medical care of the rural population to a new qualitative level.
