An employee of a company from the Shumilino district received the salary of a former employee for 3 months

April 28, Vitebsk / Olga Bogacheva - BELTA /. The deputy chief accountant of one of the firms in the Shumilino district was accruing the salary of a former employee to himself. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by the Department for Combating Economic Crimes (UBEP) of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee. Using his official position, the 25-year-old young man accrued the salary to an employee who had long since left the enterprise. At the same time, the guy did not spare money for the "dead soul": Br13.3 million was accrued over three months. Of course, the former employee did not have the opportunity to use these funds: the money was transferred to the deputy chief accountant's card. He also spent it. A criminal case has been initiated against the young man for embezzlement through abuse of office, committed on a large scale, under Part 3 of Article 210 of the Criminal Code of Belarus, which provides for up to 10 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property. -0-
