MChS employees rescued a mother and two children from a fire in Postavy

Mother and two children were rescued by emergency services from a fire in Postavy, the press secretary of the Vitebsk Regional Department of Emergency Situations Marina Fando told a BELTA correspondent. The fire occurred in a non-residential apartment of a single-entrance two-story residential building. During the emergency, a mother with her 9-year-old daughter and 6-year-old son were in the second residential apartment located on the same floor. Feeling that something was wrong, the woman looked out onto the landing and discovered the fire. Due to heavy smoke, she could not leave the building with her children, returned to her apartment and called rescuers. The promptly arrived emergency services evacuated the family and extinguished the fire. According to preliminary data, the cause of the fire was children's mischief with fire. As it turned out, the children often played in the non-residential apartment. -0-
