Police officers detect several cases of illegal currency transactions daily - A. Kuleshov

The Ministry of Internal Affairs units constantly monitor the situation among individuals illegally engaged in illegal currency transactions and take measures against violators in accordance with the law. This was stated today to journalists, answering a question from a BELTA correspondent, by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Belarus Anatoly Kuleshov. He was holding a reception for citizens on personal matters in Polotsk.

According to Anatoly Kuleshov, police officers daily identify several instances of illegal currency operations and detain so-called currency speculators. In doing so, significant amounts of money are seized, including euros, dollars, and Russian rubles.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs controls processes among illegal currency speculators and takes concrete measures against violators of the current legislation, the minister emphasized.

During the reception of citizens, Anatoly Kuleshov received proposals to improve the legislation regulating arms trafficking. A number of visitors appealed to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs with requests to resolve specific life situations, as well as to assist in resolving issues related to service in the internal affairs bodies.-0-
