July 15, Vitebsk / Alexander Sam - BELTA /. At the meeting of the Union State Council of Ministers, which will be held on July 18 in Minsk, concepts of four new programs will be considered. This was announced today at a press conference in Vitebsk by State Secretary of the Union State Grigory Rapota, BELTA correspondent reports.
Grigory Rapota explained that one of them is related to the development of agriculture. He also reported that the agenda of the meeting includes three blocks of issues. The first is organizational. The second block is the discussion of the results of trade and economic development. "This is an important issue that speaks about the level of trade and economic development we are at and what needs to be done," Grigory Rapota noted. At the same time, he said: "There is progress, the Union State is developing quite dynamically." "You will learn all the figures on July 18," Grigory Rapota emphasized.
He also noted that trade and economic balances will be considered at the meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Union State. "The coordination of balances is already an element of the creation of a Single Economic Space. This is the higher degree of integration that we are striving for," Grigory Rapota explained.
"We have a number of programs, and they are ongoing, they are related to strengthening and developing border infrastructure. After all, Belarus and Russia have virtually common external borders, so this is our common task," Grigory Rapota said.
In addition, the meeting of the Council of Ministers will consider issues of the functioning of the joint grouping of troops. "This is related to railway communication, and the construction of airfields, etc.," he explained.
The State Secretary also noted that the funds of the Union State are spent not only on infrastructure in Belarus, but also in Russia on strengthening borders. "These are constantly operating programs," Grigory Rapota said. -0-
