Joint collegiums contribute to the development of archival affairs in Belarus and Russia - Rosarkhiv
May 28, Vitebsk / Sergey Kochetov - BELTA /. The joint meetings of the archival services of Belarus and Russia contribute to the development of archival affairs in the two countries. This was stated today to journalists by Deputy Head of the Federal Archival Agency of the Ministry of Culture and Mass Communications of Russia Vladimir Tarasov before the opening of the meeting of the archival agencies of Belarus and Russia, BELTA correspondent reports.
There has been fruitful and close cooperation between archivists of Russia and Belarus for many years, which has significantly intensified after the creation of the Union State. "Such interaction allows us to share experience, to learn all the best that appears in the development of archival affairs among colleagues," noted Vladimir Tarasov. At the same time, holding joint meetings not only in the capitals of the two countries, but also in the regions, provides an opportunity to better understand the life and geography of Russia and Belarus. "This is a very useful practice, which we will continue to implement," he added. -0-
