The most difficult problems can be solved through the joint efforts of citizens and authorities - Andriychenko

Pressing issues of life should be resolved by citizens and authorities through consolidated efforts. This opinion was expressed to journalists by the Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly, Vladimir Andreichenko, in response to a question from a BELTA correspondent following a personal reception of citizens in Dokshitsy, Vitebsk region.

"There is no need to make unfulfillable promises and dismiss citizens; one simply needs to get down to practical problem-solving that concerns the population," Vladimir Andreichenko is convinced. He emphasized that the range of issues citizens raise during personal receptions has changed in recent years.

"Time moves on, and people's needs grow. 10-15 years ago, hardly anyone would have raised the issue of needing to bring water into their homes. It's all understandable; people want to live more comfortably. But one shouldn't think that everything can be done at the state's expense. One must also make efforts and contribute to the best of their ability. Joint efforts can solve everything. But if you oppose the authorities and believe that they owe you everything, then nothing will work out," said the speaker. Today, several people came to see Vladimir Andreichenko.

Citizens requested assistance in obtaining loans for individual house construction with a high degree of readiness, sought help with repairs and strengthening the material base of the Polotsk Oncology Center, and asked for water supply to a rural house. One of the residents of the district came to say thank you – she expressed gratitude for the help in resolving housing privatization issues. In addition, Vladimir Andreichenko will today take part in the republican charity event "Our Children" at the Begomlsky boarding school for orphans and children left without parental care.
