The Spartakiad among civil servants was held in Vitebsk
Teams of civil servants from the city executive committee and Vitebsk district administrations competed in the event. The event was organized for the second time and gathered over 120 proponents of an active lifestyle.
— The participants' skill level is high, so the competition was fierce in all disciplines. It is evident that the state apparatus employees approach the preparation for the Spartakiad responsibly, — said **Sergey Voronov, Deputy Head of the Department of Education, Sports and Tourism of the Vitebsk City Executive Committee**. — They prove by personal example that health allows one to demonstrate strength of spirit, firmness of character, and strength of will, which is the foundation on which society rests. Without these qualities, a person cannot become a good leader.
The program included competitions in volleyball, table tennis, kettlebell lifting, swimming, shooting, badminton, checkers, and an athletics relay race.
The football matches, in which male managers fought for victory, were particularly spectacular and unpredictable.
The games were emotional, the scales tipped from one side to the other, but in the end, after a tense struggle, the representatives of the Zheleznodorozhny district became the strongest. They also won first place in the overall standings.
