Vitebsk region rescuers took 8 prize-winning places at once at the republican amateur creativity competition of the Ministry of Emergency Situations

As many as 8 prize-winning places were taken by Pridvinian rescuers at the XIX Republican Review Competition of Amateur Performances of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Belarus.

Six-year-old Katya Nikitina from Vitebsk had not yet finished her performance, and the jury already had no doubts that the stage featured the winner in the "Humor and Satire (Children)" nomination. The charming, mischievous girl incredibly emotionally and skillfully depicted in the sketch "A Minute is Worth Gold" how, when choosing a future profession, she came to her rescuer father at work, what she saw and heard there. Despite her young age, Katya embodied the character and conveyed the intonations of her interlocutors so organically that she completely captivated the strict judging panel and won the audience's favor.

The girl did not need to be persuaded to try her hand at the competition; she loves to perform and attends various creative clubs, so she approached the idea of participating in amateur performances with great enthusiasm and readily joined the rehearsal process, said her father, Sergey Anatolyevich, chief specialist of the organizational and analytical department of the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Success came immediately: at the regional stage, the little one took first place. But to represent the Vitebsk region worthily in the final, Katya had to prepare a new act.

— We learned the text together with her mother. The large size of the humorous sketch did not bother my daughter: she has a very good memory, — explained Sergey Nikitin. — At the first rehearsal, Katya was shy at first, but after about 15 minutes, the nervousness passed. And now she even says that it is more interesting to perform when there are many people in the audience.

At the republican stage of the review competition, which took place in November, in addition to Ekaterina's winning performance, other performances by Pridvinian Ministry of Emergency Situations employees and their family members also received high praise. Thus, in the "Choreography" and "Song about the Heroism of Rescuer-Firefighters" nominations, both adults and children took second place. The vocal ensemble, which performed the anthem of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, also ended up in the same position in the final protocol.

and a children's duet of Chashniki pianists with the instrumental composition "Moon Trail". And the PASO-1 driver of Novopolotsk Emergency Rescue Service Maxim Vasilievsky took third place in the "Humor and Satire (Adults)" nomination with the feuilleton "A Trip to the Apiary".

— The Vitebsk regional department has been successfully participating in the review competition for the last five years, — emphasized the head of the ideological work department of the regional Emergency Rescue Service, Alexey Beloshitsky. — In terms of the total number of prizes, we are ahead. We always aim for this, we have a winning spirit, and the desire to achieve the maximum result is ingrained in our character.

According to Alexey Petrovich, a good moral and psychological climate in the team is an important component of success. People support each other, offer suggestions, and listen to useful advice regardless of their positions and ranks. In addition, cultural institution employees help rescuers prepare creative performances.

— Our prize-winners are enthusiasts who, after their service, regardless of the time, engage in what they enjoy, creatively developing and promoting their profession, — notes Alexey Beloshitsky.

Alexey Petrovich himself not only solves organizational issues but has also been participating in amateur art contests and concerts since 2007. This hobby is not accidental: it was influenced by the fact that his family always loved and knew how to sing, and his studies at a music school in the accordion class. Then, when he entered the Gomel Engineering Institute, he played in the brass band — he had to learn new instruments, but he managed. Alexey Beloshitsky did not abandon his creative pursuits later, performing more successfully each year. This year, for example, he became a prize-winner in the "Song about the Heroism of Rescuer-Firefighters" nomination as part of a vocal ensemble, which also included Alexander Shashkov (Liozno District Emergency Rescue Service), Denis Dubenok (Vitebsk District Emergency Rescue Service), and Alexander Podvitelsky (Rosson District Emergency Rescue Service).

— The level of the republican review competition is very high. The most active phase of preparation for it lasted from November 9 to 17, we rehearsed until 11 p.m., and sometimes until midnight, — recalls Alexey

Petrovich. — All debutants who joined us this year were impressed by how seriously we prepare for performances. It is gratifying that there are many such caring people in the Ministry of Emergency Situations today. When we call those who won the regional amateur art competition and offer them to go to the republic or participate in a concert, there are usually no refusals. And no one needs to be forced.

Rescuers are versatile people. Some, in addition to their main activities, are successful in sports, some sing or play musical instruments. It is not enough to simply perform their official duties; an employee of the Ministry of Emergency Situations must be socially active, athletic, and bring something positive to the life of the city, district, or region.
