Sports "PapaHalls" are opening in Braslav and Vitebsk

In the regional center, the sports "PapaHall" will open at secondary school No. 29. Young fathers of the Oktyabrsky district of Vitebsk will spend February 23 together with their children and become participants in a sports event. The program includes competitions, congratulations to fathers on the holiday, a flag show, a cheerleading performance, a concert, and demonstration performances by fighters of the 103rd separate guards airborne brigade. "The movement of fathers who are not indifferent to raising their children is becoming increasingly popular. This is the second "PapaHall" in Vitebsk. In the Vitebsk region, we have already opened them in Novopolotsk, Postavy, Senno, and Orsha. Another "PapaHall" will open today in Braslav," said Vyacheslav Khrol, First Secretary of the BRYU regional committee. "We often hear that it's really cool when a young father can do sports with his child. Within the framework of the project, we hold sports festivals, team games, and competitions."

The initiative to create "PapaHalls" throughout the country was put forward at the 43rd congress of the BRYU by the youth of Gomel, who were the first to implement a project in the region for the active participation of fathers in raising children. Its main goal is to promote a healthy lifestyle, popularize responsible fatherhood and family values.
