Medieval knights will battle for a fair lady's kiss on February 27 at a tournament in Vitebsk

February 25, Vitebsk / Olga Bogacheva - BELTA /. A medieval knight tournament will be held on February 27 in Vitebsk. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by the Center for Folk Crafts and Arts "Dvina", on the courtyard of which the grand performance will unfold. About 20 knights representing historical reconstruction clubs from Minsk, Mogilev, as well as "Naglfara", "Wargentorn" and "Talion" from the regional center will take part in the main entertainment event of the Middle Ages. The competition will be held on an elimination basis: defeated opponents will leave the battlefield, and the rest will continue to fight until the best is determined. The uncompromising duels promise to be a fascinating spectacle, because, as in ancient times, the main prize for the winner will be a kiss from a beautiful lady. Spectators and participants of historical clubs will support the participants on this day. In addition, during the breaks between battles, the girls intend to treat the Vitebsk residents gathered for the tournament with hot tea, entertain them with dances and humorous games. The organizers of the event are the Center for Folk Crafts and Arts "Dvina" and the historical reconstruction club "Naglfara", which celebrates its 10th anniversary on February 27. -0-
