This was announced today at a meeting of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee by its chairman Alexander Kosinets, BELTA correspondent reports. The governor also instructed the district and city executive committees to study the situation with minimum wages at enterprises, regardless of ownership. According to statistics, in the region, 40 organizations have wages of less than $200. At the same time, during financial audits, more than 1.7 thousand organizations were identified where this minimum was not paid, and in some, the official payroll showed wages of Br101 thousand. After inspections, wage growth was observed at these enterprises. Enterprises have the funds to increase wages, Alexander Kosinets is confident.
