S. Sidorsky will visit the Vitebsk Biopharma Factory on April 10

April 9, Minsk / BELTA /. Belarusian Prime Minister Sergei Sidorsky will travel to the Vitebsk region on April 10 for a working visit, BELTA was informed by the Council of Ministers' Office. The head of government will visit the private unitary enterprise "Vitebsk Biopharma" in the village of Dolzha, Vitebsk district. Issues of implementing the government's instructions on the reconstruction of this enterprise will be considered there. Then, a meeting will be held at the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee. Principles of forming the region's budget revenues for 2009 will be discussed there. Vitebsk Biopharma is included in the state program for the development of veterinary drug production. A business plan for production expansion, designed for 2006-2009, has been developed for its implementation. The total investment in the project is estimated at Br150 billion. The enterprise produces veterinary drugs: biological preparations (vaccines, serums, diagnostics) and pharmacological preparations (antibiotics, tinctures, preservatives). It is the only enterprise in the biological industry in Belarus. Production was founded in the 1930s. -0-
