S. Sidorsky will make a working trip to Minsk and Vitebsk regions on July 31

July 30, Minsk /BELTA/. Belarusian Prime Minister Sergei Sidorsky will go on a working trip to Minsk and Vitebsk regions on July 31. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by the Office of the Council of Ministers. The head of government will visit the under-construction dairy farm "Zhitkovo" of the agricultural enterprise "Staroborisov" in the Borisov district. Using this facility as an example, the issue of organizing the construction of dairy farms in agricultural organizations of the region in accordance with the resolution of the Council of Ministers of October 10, 2008 No. 1502 will be discussed. It is worth recalling that by this resolution, the government approved a list of agricultural organizations in which 118 dairy farms equipped with modern milking equipment will be built by the end of 2009. In accordance with decree No. 332, OJSC "Belagroprombank" provides loans for the construction of these farms for a total amount of Br1 trillion. The main conditions for selecting agricultural organizations where dairy farms are being built are reliable provision of a feed base, the presence of a highly productive dairy herd, and the possibility of its replenishment after the completion of the new farm's construction. The average milk yield per cow in such a modern complex should be at least 6 thousand kg of milk per year. In the Minsk region, it is planned to build 22 dairy farms. Then the Prime Minister will travel to the Vitebsk region to RUPTP "Orsha Linen Mill". During the visit to this enterprise, measures being taken to increase the efficiency of the Orsha Linen Mill will be discussed. A meeting will be held with reports from officials on the implementation of the government's instructions. -0-
