An order on ensuring the organization and holding of such events by organizers of trade, public catering, and household services has been issued by the city executive committee. According to it, from December 12 to January 7, city fairs for the sale of non-food and food products with the participation of agricultural producers, industrial, trade, and public catering organizations will be held weekly on weekends from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Proletarskaya Square.
From December 19, Christmas tree markets will be organized at 16 locations in the city. Traditionally, they will be located at the Polotsk, Smolensk, Yuzhny markets; Proletarskaya Square; near the shopping centers "GREEN", "HIPPO", "Trio", "Evroopt" (Moskovsky Avenue, 45/1 and 130); near the "Vesta" store on Pobedy Avenue; near "Dobronom" on Pravdy Street, 64a; near "Vitebskiye Produkty" on Smolenskaya Street; at the intersection of Frunze Avenue and Smolenskaya Street; on Mira Street, 44, Titova Street, 113, and Chkalova Street near the "Yug-7" stop. Here you will be able to purchase a fluffy live pine or fir tree.
