The goals and objectives of the program are to improve the interaction of states, statutory bodies, and sectoral cooperation bodies of the CIS. The program activities involve improving organizational and legal mechanisms for cooperation in combating terrorism and extremism, preparing and conducting joint events aimed at preventing, detecting, and suppressing terrorism and extremism, providing information-analytical and scientific support for the activities of the CIS member states in this area, and developing the human resources potential of competent authorities.
