Novopolotsk builders are focused on completing the planned housing on time

Polotsk builders are maximally focused on commissioning all planned housing, adhering to deadlines and construction standards. This was announced by Albert Shakel, Deputy Chairman of the Novopolotsk City Executive Committee, who is participating in a ceremony to mark the commissioning of a new apartment building.

"Plans for next year are currently being drawn up, and calculations are being finalized. All funds received from the privatization of housing will be directed towards the construction of social and commercial apartments next year. As for individual housing, due to the specifics of urban development and soils, it is almost not being built here. All the builders' efforts are concentrated on apartment buildings. And, most importantly, every effort is being made to ensure that facilities are commissioned on time and that owners are satisfied with their quality. Currently, we have no unfinished construction projects," noted Albert Shakel.

From January to October of this year, about 20 thousand square meters have been built in the oil city. This area includes the new 48-apartment building at 9 Neftyanikov Street, the symbolic key to which was solemnly handed over by a representative of the developer – construction and installation trust No. 16 – to a representative of the Capital Construction Department. This is the fifth building commissioned this year. In the remaining almost two months, keys are planned to be handed over to residents of two more apartment buildings. In them, as in this house, 10-15% will be social housing, so that the total amount of such square meters in 2015 will not be lower than the 2014 level – 818 sq.m.
