The construction of a new Palace of Weddings is planned to begin in Vitebsk this year

An object long awaited by the citizens is included in the investment program of Vitebsk for 2017: the Palace of Marriage Registration.

The amount allocated for its construction will be determined in the near future, and the developers - the institute "Vitebskgrazhdanproekt" - are currently adjusting the project to reduce the scope of construction. Since the building will be located in the city center, on Millennium Square, which already has a developed infrastructure in its vicinity, it has been decided to abandon the previously planned ancillary premises in the Palace of Marriage Registration - cafes, shops, and so on, which will not diminish the significance of the object. The start of construction and installation work is also expected this year, which, as is known, is marked by the 100th anniversary of the establishment of civil registration authorities in Belarus.

All concerned citizens, as well as enterprises and organizations, can take part in the construction of the Palace of Marriage Registration. The city utility company has opened a charitable account for accumulating sponsorship.
