Belarusian citizens building housing will receive additional loans on previous terms
April 19, Minsk /BELTA/. Belarusian citizens building housing will continue to receive loans on the previous terms. As reported to BELTA by the Presidential press service, on April 17, Alexander Lukashenko signed Decree No. 184, which introduces additions and amendments to certain decrees of the head of state regulating the housing construction sector.
The essence of the document is that preferential loans granted to citizens who concluded loan agreements before the entry into force of Decree No. 13 of January 6, 2012 "On Certain Issues of Granting State Support to Citizens in the Construction (Reconstruction) or Purchase of Residential Premises", and the servicing of these loan agreements within their validity period will be carried out on the terms provided for by the concluded loan agreements and the legislation in force at the time of their conclusion (taking into account the provision of deferral in accordance with part 2 of subparagraph 1.12 of paragraph 1 of Decree No. 13).
In addition, in accordance with the decree, military personnel, employees of the Investigative Committee, internal affairs bodies, financial investigations, and emergency services (regardless of rank), serving under contract, will retain the main conditions for obtaining preferential loans that were previously provided for by Decree No. 195 of April 3, 2008 "On Certain Social and Legal Guarantees for Military Personnel, Judges, and Prosecutors". In particular, they retain the right to receive preferential loans at 5% per annum.

The document also clarifies certain provisions of Decree No. 195 of April 3, 2008 "On Certain Social and Legal Guarantees for Military Personnel, Judges, and Prosecutors" taking into account the practice of its application (regarding the payment of travel and accommodation expenses for military personnel studying in other states, the retention of the right for families of deceased military personnel to be registered as needing to improve housing conditions at the place of the deceased military personnel).
