Student detachments of the Vitebsk region were solemnly presented with vouchers for the labor summer – 2022
As part of the event, an open dialogue was held with the participation of the oblast leadership on the development of the student team movement in the Vitebsk region.
– Youth is the engine and future of the state, – noted the Chairman of the Vitebsk Oblast Executive Committee, Alexander Subbotin. – The student team movement makes a worthy contribution to the development of the country, and this is confirmed by actions.
According to the Assistant to the President – Inspector for the Vitebsk Region, Anatoly Linevich, student teams are primarily about communication, new goals, first professional skills, and the understanding that we are all united. For the development of the state, it is important that young people are ready to work for the benefit and prosperity of their native country.
– The issue of labor employment has always been relevant. Authorities are aware of the importance of youth employment and provide assistance and support to student teams. Fighters work in agricultural, industrial, construction, and other teams in Belarus and Russia. Young people from our region annually participate in the construction of socially significant facilities in the country, – emphasized the Deputy Chairman of the Oblast Executive Committee, Vyacheslav Durnov. – Thus, the objects of the oblast youth construction this year are: the reconstruction of the cadet school building in Polotsk, the construction of a household waste landfill in Orsha. A labor pedagogical project based on a children's health resort, which will be implemented for the first time in the oblast, will become an object of youth attention.
Marina Novitskaya, Head of the Main Department of Ideological Work and Youth Affairs of the Regional Executive Committee, addressed the student detachment fighters with parting words.
– Use your youth, your main bonus, to the fullest. Inspire all the guys around you with an idea, and the student detachment movement will confidently move forward, – said Marina Novitskaya. – May this summer be a time when you can make new acquaintances and gain useful skills. Think, dream, get inspired, don't be afraid of work, fall in love, and return to your studies in a great mood!
As noted by Vladimir Babichev, First Secretary of the Regional Committee of the BRSM, the BRSM provides broad opportunities for the employment of student youth, including abroad. This year, it is planned to employ more than 5,000 people during the summer.
