The Student of the Year of the Vitebsk region will be chosen on October 16 in Novopolotsk
Qualifying stages were held in all higher education institutions of the region and aroused great interest among students. Nine best students of the Vitebsk region will compete in intellectual and creative competitions. They will represent Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov, Vitebsk State Academy of Veterinary Medicine, Vitebsk Branch of the International University "MITSO", Vitebsk State Technological University, Polotsk State University, and Vitebsk State Medical University.
All participants of the regional round of the competition will receive prizes from partners, and the winner will receive a tour package along the route Tallinn-Riga-Stockholm. Also, the best student will represent the Vitebsk region in the republican final of "Student of the Year - 2019".
The competition was organized by the regional committee of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union with the support of the main department of ideological work and youth affairs of the regional executive committee and universities of the Vitebsk region.
