A student surveying team from Novopolotsk will work on the construction of the nuclear power plant
For the first time, a student detachment of surveyors has been formed in the Vitebsk region: 30 students from Novopolotsk will work on the construction of the Belarusian NPP. This was announced by the first secretary of the regional committee of the BRSM, Viktor Glushin, who took part in the opening of the "Dialogue of Generations - Flowers of Great Victory" project in the Vitebsk region.
"At this time, young people are most interested in the issue of secondary employment," explained Viktor Glushin. - There are difficulties with finding jobs for minors. Qualified specialists are in demand. If you want to go to a serious facility, you need to have a working qualification. Those guys whom we send to the construction of important facilities, roads, have the necessary qualifications, permits for working at height, and construction specialties. This year, 30 surveyors from Novopolotsk will go to work at the NPP - the All-Belarusian Youth Construction Project. Such a detachment has been formed for the first time, there was a serious selection. Previously, there were simply construction detachments from Novopolotsk, which more than once became the best and received a challenge banner."
The youth leader noted that the plans for this work semester are ambitious - to provide secondary employment for more than 12,000 young people, most of them in agricultural detachments. But there are also construction, service, pedagogical, and environmental ones. "We actively cooperate with forestry enterprises, for which we are grateful. Negotiations are underway with the Vitebsk branch of "Belarusian Lotteries" to create a detachment there. In general, at the moment, contracts for employment have been concluded for more than 1,500 people in the Vitebsk region, mainly as part of student detachments, but there are also individual employments," added Viktor Glushin.
The regional employment headquarters is pleased that young people are actively participating in the volunteer movement, and each has their own focus. Some help veterans, care for military graves. There are guys who work in a shelter for homeless animals. In addition, a new direction of specialized detachments is developing - medical ones. An IT detachment has also appeared. "It so happened that the positive experience of the Vitebsk region is quickly picked up throughout the country,
so we don't even have initiatives that would require additional discussion at the All-Belarusian People's Assembly. Rather, there are wishes. For example, to build up and expand the geography of international cooperation not at the leadership level, but from the primary organizations and educational institutions. So that school befriends school, university befriends university. If Vitebsk recently signed an agreement with the Russian Beloyarsk at the level of city administrations, then now our city executive committee is already coordinating the work of a construction team there, in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug," the interlocutor emphasized.Today the region joined the BRSM project "Dialogue of Generations "Flowers of the Great Victory". A museum bus with a mobile exhibition on the history of Belarus during the war years and in peacetime arrived in the city on the Dvina. The "Dialogue of Generations" itself took place at the Vitebsk Culture Center, with about 100 people participating - delegates of the V All-Belarusian People's Assembly from youth, representatives of executive authorities, talented and gifted young people: scientists, athletes, businessmen, musicians, and others. They voiced problems and issues related to youth topics and together developed proposals for discussion at the people's assembly.
