Student teams of the Vitebsk region are opening the third working semester
The grand opening of the "Third Labor Semester - 2019" will take place today in Vitebsk, reported Victoria Kuzheleva, commander of the Vitebsk Regional Headquarters of Student Brigades.
The festive ceremony will be held at the Vitebsk Regional Museum of the Hero of the Soviet Union M.F. Shmyrev with the participation of representatives of government bodies, veterans of the student brigade movement, and the regional committee of the BRSM. Throughout the day, events will be organized for the commanders, commissars, and members of student brigades at the Cultural and Recreational Complex named after the Soviet Army, and a seminar on the development of the student brigade movement in the Vitebsk region is also planned. "This year, it is planned to involve youth in the work as part of student construction, agricultural, pedagogical, environmental, service, medical, and production brigades. The guys will have to contribute to the construction, reconstruction, and improvement of facilities not only in the region but also beyond its borders. More than 130 student brigade members will go to Moldova and Russia. They will have to assist in harvesting, caring for forest crops, and working as counselors in children's camps," - said Victoria Kuzheleva.
