Student detachments of the Vitebsk region will acquire their own symbols

February 8, Vitebsk / Olga Bogacheva - BELTA /. Student detachments of the Vitebsk region will acquire their own symbols, a BELTA correspondent was informed at the Vitebsk Regional Committee of the BRSM. Every year, the student detachment movement unites a huge number of young people in Belarus. For example, in the Vitebsk region alone, 104 detachments with a total number of 12.3 thousand people were organized last summer. Young men and women worked in construction, service, environmental, volunteer, and pedagogical detachments. Currently, the formation of detachments for the current summer work semester has begun again in the region. To give impetus to this work, attract the attention of young people to the student detachment movement, and increase their interest, the regional committee of the BRSM announced a competition for the best symbols of specialized detachments. Young people can send their proposals for the competition during February-March to the city and district committees of the BRSM. When summing up the results, the jury will evaluate the compliance of the works with the detachment's profile, the originality of the creative implementation of the idea, and the simplicity of reproduction. The winners of the competition will be awarded valuable prizes. -0-
